CHELSEA Community Shield 2009/2010 Winner!!!

Victory was sweet, be it if it's only a penalty shootout or be it if it's only the Community Shield. Whatever it is, it's the first cup for Chelsea for this season and the first and many to come for Carlo Ancelotti.

Photobucket

First half was a high intense drama game, but the second half proves the superiority of The Blues. But nonetheless, Rooney's last minute goal was a shocker although camera replay shows half a yard of offside.

Photobucket

But overall, i am very happy with the Chelsea's performance and ending this penalty shootout drought may proves to be a lucky charm for The Blues to win titles this season.

Aliens In The Attic Movie Review

Apparently, my weekend this week has been a movie mania weekend. Just got back from Pavillion GSC after watching Alien In The Attic. From the poster itself, my first thought was...

Photobucket

It's gotta be a kiddy-disney-all-over-kinda-movie. But my oh my, i was sooooo wrong! I ended up laughing my ass of with my 3 friends the whole way throughout the movie.

I seriously gotta say, this movie surprised me in a way. It didn't even occur to me that this movie will be that amusing.

Photobucket

Well apart from Ashley Tisdale's crappy acting, LOLz! Movie was a thumbs up. CGI was not over excessive and it was well kept in balance. Adults aka Oldfarts like me also find it very amusing and it's suppose to be a kiddy show.

Photobucket

The highlight of the movie, i gotta say is Robert Hoffman (Step-up 2) who plays as Ricky Dillman and also Doris Roberts (Our beloved granny from Everybody loves Raymond) as Nana Pearson. The fight scene was 'world class'!!!

And the countless scene where Robert Hoffman's Ricky was priceless.

Photobucket

So, my last words... Apart from a simple storyline, rest is top-class. A must see!!! XD

Aliens In The Attic Ratings:
Storyline: 7.5/10
Ha-Ha Factor: 9.5/10
Overall: 8.5/10

*Uh-Wah has been replaced with Ha-Ha since this is a comedy*

Oops! I G.I. Joed Again...

Photobucket

Just for the record, i've just watched G.I. Joe again... Yes! For the second time!!! I know!!! What the eff!?? rite? Well, i watched it for the sake of the 3 gay asses that haven't watch it and they were dying to get some piece of the action.

The Three Faggaloos...

Since the movie is out already, guess it's no harm in me sharing my insight of the movie.

Well yeah, i did a review on it but i didn't spoil the jizz of the whole movie la. Didn't want to leak out any spoilers ma. But now, the beans are spilled so here's my IMHO...

Firstly there's just too many easter eggs hidden in it. Mostly are intended puns referring to previous movies in the past. Yeah...yeah... I've told you guys already. But here's some that I've missed out.

Below are some of the trivias which some might or might have not known:

1. Stephen Sommers who is the director for this movie also directed The Mummy and its sequel, The Mummy Returns which he had his 2 leading stars play small roles in this movie as well. Brendan Fraser as Sergeant Stone and Arnold Vosloo as Zartan

2. Sergeant Stone(the character) suppose to be a descendant of Rick O'Connell from The Mummy.

3. Kevin J. O'Connor (who had roles in Sommers's Deep Rising, The Mummy and Van Helsing) as Doctor Mindbender in a flashback scene.

4. Two actors from LOST (TV Series) were cast, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Hershel Dalton / Heavy Duty and Saïd Taghmaoui as Abel Shaz / Breaker.

5. Last fight scene of Storm Shadow vs. Snake Eyes, Storm Shadow attached his 2 katanas to form a single long double blade which resembles Darth Maul double light sabres which Darth Maul was played by Ray Park and in this movie Ray Park plays Snake Eyes.

6. Scene where nanomites where injected into Zartan and when he screams as the facial reconstruction takes places, the scene resembles High Priest Imhotep when he screams out.

7. Part of the film is set in Egypt, near the Pyramids. This is a reference to Stephen Sommers's film The Mummy (1999). It also provides a link to Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009), which has its climax set in Egypt.

So...there you go... XD

Photobucket

Oh ya...Lastly i think i wanna review on my ratings for this... Coz i think credits have to be given to the in-depth character-story-lines, that's something i overlooked. XD

District 9

Good news folks! Peter Jackson is back! With the highly anticipated alien-summer-blockbuster.

Photobucket

The movie is directed by his good friend Neill Blomkamp who was supposed to direct the Halo movie but due to disagreement with the movie company and game producers, Halo will be delayed until further notice.

Photobucket

But nonetheless, District 9 is here to amuse us.

District 9 was base on a shortfilm called Alive in Joburg which is directed by Neill Blomkamp, Sharlto Copley, Simon Hansen and Shanon Worley back in 2005.

The short film is about aliens landing in South Africa and becoming confined to a specific area and forced to work thus being forced to seclude themselve to a alien-refugee camp in Johannesburg, South Africa.

G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra Movie Review

Photobucket

So guess what? Yeah babeeeeyyy!!! Just watched G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra Premiere in 1U just now. Compliment premiere tickets from Hitz.fm which my friend got for us. Thanks Maal, love ya. So how was it? What's my rating? Gotta say it's a Boom Boom Pow all the way.

Photobucket

For me, i think it's way better compared to Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Maybe cause there were just way too high expectation of it.

Photobucket

Photobucket

But G.I. Joe on the other hand was, for me exceeded my expectation. For a summer blockbuster action movie, i find it that it lives up to the action-movie-high-adrenaline name.

Photobucket

Well, i ain't gonna spoil the movie for those who will be planning to watch it soon. But i have to say the movie amuses me for it's funny intended puns.

Photobucket

*Spoiler for those serious hardcore movie-goers who will find any leakage of any part of movie deemed as punishable via stoning can stop reading now* XD

Photobucket

What i was amused was really the puns when it comes to the cast of the show. First of all 2 actors/characters from my favorite series 'Lost' was in the cast. The two guys are Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje who plays as Mr.Eko

Photobucket

and also Saïd Taghmaoui who plays as Caesar in the Season 5.

Photobucket

Secondly was, Arnold Vosloo who played as High Priest Imhotep from "The Mummy" francise. And to my shocking balls, i was having like a feeling that i might see someone familiar and then *POOF*, Brendan Fraser came into the scene playing as Sergeant Stone.

Photobucket

Last but not least a famous line which is "Houston, we got a problem!" from the "Apollo 13" was uttered out by Ripcord.

Photobucket

Overall, the movie can be summarized in one word... Or more like 3 words? If those are even words at all.

Photobucket

It's BOOM BOOM POW!!!

Photobucket

Action all the way... It's like watching a fireworks show.

Only bad thing was the whole movie was like a CGI movie to the MAX... Everything seems to be in CGI.

Photobucket

After the movie ended... The credit rolls and not to my surprise, the ending theme was in fact

Boom Boom Pow by Black Eyed Peas

BBQ at Port Dickson: Prologue

Just got back home from PD about awhile ago. Gotta say it was an awesome stomach-fulling and also also lung fulling night. Myself and Edwin, we left PD at 2.50am and got back to Cheras, KL at 3.30am.

Fast & Furious? Didn't really felt it at all. XD

Gotta catch a nap now so that I'll be able to wake up for tomorrow's church service at 10am.

BBQ at Port Dickson: Epilogue

Currently still in KL in Cheras... in my friggin room... typing this post... yes i know... it's lame and pathetic... but i ain't got much choice and ain't much thing to do other than waiting for Yvonne to get her ass here to Cheras.

And the best part is today, there's a protest rally going on in KL town which is creating crazy huge amount of jams due to roadblocks being set up by da police. Soooooooo... apparently, she's goin' to be late. Damn...

Hopefully we can get our ass moving out of here by 4pm plus...and get to Seremban ASAP or else Azeem gonna start bitching... XD

And then~~~ HOPEFULLY, we will get to find nana's place in PD and get everything set up.

Well, it's tough being the main characters aka superstars of this whole BBQ at PD thing...

WE'RE JUST IN EVERY FREAKIN' SCENE!
